The L397 Alenquer Tiger Pleco (Panaqolus sp.) at 1.5 inches is a juvenile, roughly 30% of its maximum 5-inch (12.7 cm) adult size. These popular, vividly striped orange-and-black plecos are hardy, peaceful, and require a diet rich in wood, as they are xylophagous. They are ideal for community tanks of 30+ gallons.
